IV. THE INTERCEPT OPERATOR
"What number are you calling please?"
Get routed manually by the Intercept Operator, call That '70s Number: [ 2368 ] or [ 4594 ]
The AIS announces at the end "if you need assistance, you may stay on the line, and an operator will answer".
When the operator answers, give the number and listen to what's next.
Or trick the operator by giving a fake number you have not dialed and you'll hear
"The number you have reached, is ..."
On the 1A2 Key Call Director Phone the IO has 2 assigned lines: 'Intercept Operator', when calls need assistance from the operator, & 'Intercept Interrupt', for monitoring the line only, sometimes interrupting.
When assistance is needed the phone will buzz once and the line is blinking. After 60 seconds the trunk is dropped giving you a handshake and shortly after, buzzing the operator again.
If no assistance is needed the line will just start blinking with no buzzer also in a 60 seconds cycle.
Use the Automatic Intercept System Generator to create your own anouncments. Choose the phone number and select an option: 'Number Not In Service', 'Is Been Checked For Trouble', or 'Is Not Jet Connected' are only a few.
Find out how to phreak this network using a Blue Box. Sending 2600Hz and MF Frequencies you can control the 1A2 Key System and route your calls through-out different networks.
